DECLAN LAMB

Our head coaches journey began within the academy system, where he experienced the demands and standards of a professional environment from a young age. His playing career took him through both professional and semi-professional levels, developing a deep understanding of the game and the mindset required to succeed. After his time with Morecambe FC, Declan’s passion for player development grew, leading him to pursue a degree in Football Coaching and Talent Development at UCFB Etihad Campus. Combining his academic foundation with first-hand playing experience, he went on to further his coaching journey within the Manchester United Academy system. Today, that journey shapes his approach — professional, detailed, and focused on measurable player growth at every level.

Jacob possesses a deep understanding of North Queensland football, having played at the highest level within the region and developed an exceptional knowledge of the game’s demands. His experience and insight translate seamlessly into his coaching, where he specialises in the youth development phase — focusing on technical detail, game intelligence, and consistent progression. Jacob’s professional approach and commitment to player development align perfectly with DL Technical Development’s philosophy, making him a key contributor to nurturing the next generation of talent.
